The Eastern United States Dancesport Championships is one of the longest running competitions in the United States having run for over 40 years. EUSDC is one of the three original Championship events organized by the United States Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (USISTD)

In 2008, EUSDC moved from Cherry Hill, New Jersey to its current home of Boston, Massachusetts. Since then, it has become of one of the premier competitions in the country for both domestic competitors and international dancers who attend the competition each year from around the world including Iceland, Poland, South Africa, Russia, New Zealand, and Ukraine for the annual Open to the World International Amateur Team Match, International Dance Camp, and prestigious championships title events.
