POT OF GOLD

Guaranteed prize money awarded to all teachers who meet the minimum entry requirements. Each dance in a multi-dance is counted. Example: One 5-Dance Multi-Dance entry is considered 5 dances.

250+ danceS - $10 per dance

200 - 249 danceS - $8 per dance

150 - 199 danceS - $6 per dance

100 - 149 danceS - $4 per dance

50 - 99 DANCES - $3 PER DANCE

Overall Prize Money

Awarded to the Top 6 Teachers who meet the minimum entry requirements. Each dance in a multi-dance is counted. Example: One 5-Dance Multi-Dance entry is considered 5 dances.

1st Place: $2,000 - minimum 250 Dances

2nd Place: $1,500 - minimum 200 dances

3rd Place: $1,000 - minimum 150 dances

4th Place: $750 - minimum 100 dances

5th Place: $500 - minimum 75 dances

6th Place: $250 - minimum 50 dances

Top Female Prize Money

Awarded to the Top 4 Teachers who meet the minimum entry requirements. Each dance in a multi-dance is counted. Example: One 5-Dance Multi-Dance entry is considered 5 dances. Top Female Teachers may earn either the Top Female Teacher prize money or the Overall Top Teacher prize money but not both.

1st Place: $1,000 - minimum 150 dances

2nd Place: $750 - minimum 100 dances

3rd Place: $500 - minimum 75 dances

4th Place: $250 - minimum 50 dances

Top Overall Mixed Amateur Teacher

Awarded to the Top 3 Mixed Amateur Teachers who meet the minimum entry requirements. Each dance in a multi-dance is counted. Example: One 5-Dance Multi-Dance entry is considered 5 dances.

1st Place: $500 – Minimum 100 dances

2nd Place: $350 – Minimum 75 dances

3rd Place: $200 – Minimum 50 dances

Youth Pro/Am entries will be reduced by half for all Top Teacher prizes.

Trophies shall be awarded to the Top Newcomer, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Open, & Overall Male & Female Students.


The Organizers reserve the right to combine or cancel any Professional, Amateur, or Pro/Am event with 3 couples or less. In the event of a cancellation, competitors will be duly notified in advance of such cancellation.

The Organizers also reserve the right to halve the prize money awarded for Professional, Amateur, or Pro/Am events with 3 couples or less.
